φάλᾱρος [fa^], α, ον, (or φαλᾱρός, ά, όν Hsch. ), Dor. for the Ion. φάληρος (v. infr. 11), having a patch of white, ὁ κύων ὁ φάλαρος the dog with a white spot, Theoc. 8.27; ὁ Φάλαρος, as a ram's name, Id. 5.103.
